Advanced Features
The Advanced tab grants you quick access to a set of advanced tools, among them the Memcached memory caching system and the Varnish Cache web accelerator, which will help you optimize your web sites and applications without having to log out of the web hosting Control Panel. Depending on the hosting package, these tools are either added by default or are offered in the form of easy-to-get upgrades. InnoDB and NodeJS support is available as well.
Varnish
Varnish Cache is a web accelerator also famous as a caching HTTP reverse proxy. You can install it in front of any web server that speaks HTTP and configure it to cache the content. Varnish Cache is very, very fast and will speed up your website. One of the key pluses of Varnish Cache is the flexibility of its principal configuration mechanism, VCL, which enables you to specify how incoming requests should be tackled.
Memcached
Memcached is a general-purpose distributed memory caching system for boosting the load speed of dynamic database-powered sites. It is used to decrease the number of times an external data source (such as a database or API) is read by caching data and objects in RAM. The Memcached distributed memory caching system uses a client/server architecture. The Memcached system is employed by some of the most popular websites on the World Wide Web and is supported by popular web apps like Joomla and WordPress.
Node.js
Node.js is a software platform for writing scalable Internet applications. Built on Chrome's JavaScript runtime, Node.js uses an event-driven, asynchronous I/O model that makes it lightweight and effective, excellent for real-time data-heavy network applications. Node.js uses Google's V8 JavaScript engine, libUV, and a number of in-built libraries.
InnoDB
InnoDB is the default database engine for the MySQL open-source database management system. A database engine is the main software component that a database management system uses to create, retrieve, update and delete data from a database. Its latest version offers considerable improvements in efficacy, dependability and functionality. InnoDB offers the standard ACID database transaction properties, as well as declarative referential integrity support. It is included by default in most binaries distributed by MySQL AB.
